New videos: "Chemistry 221: Class Presentations" posted! Many of my students wish to know what a Class Presentation is like before they actually give one themselves... well, here are two examples of how laid back the presentations truly are. These two presentations are from the Fall 2007 Chemistry 221 class.

About tvMhChem.org

I wanted to build a TV station for my chemistry students... something that they could watch and be fun, yet educational at the same time... and, hence, tvMhChem.org was born.

My name is Michael Russell, and I primarilypicture of me teach majors level first year chemistry at Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) in Gresham, Oregon, USA. At MHCC, this translates into three one quarter classes entitled Chemistry 221, Chemistry 222 and Chemistry 223. Each of these classes I further subdivide into six "Chapter Guides" which follow the chapters in our textbook... hence, "CH 221 Part I" is for Chapter Guides One through Three and "CH 221 Part II" is for Chapter Guides Four through Six, etc.

I would love to hear your feedback regarding tvMhChem.org... feel free to contact me via email or at MHCC. Thanks for visiting!

And finally, my biggest thanks to Andy Mrozkowski, the Webmaster at Mars Hill College, for making the code necessary to complete tvMhChem.org possible. My deepest thanks Andy!
